Just bought some cds lately that had a special treatment with a great result. Im still hoping some Geils records will get that treatment someday.
Waiting for Columbus by Little Feat was always one of my favorite live albums and the remastered and extended version is a real killer. Same thing with Eat a Peach by the Allmans. On disc one the complete original doublealbum and on disc two the final fillmore east concert from june 71 ' (where Geils also played). From an compilation audio DVD. This version of Centerfold runs at 4.03 minutes. It could be an album track that wasn't used or a extended mix for an unreleased 12" or 'maxi-single. It does appear to be an alternative mix by Seth Justman and not a later 'rap' or 'dance' version that you sometimes get.

Rhino Handmade has released 2500 copies of the revamped classic...Buddy Guy and Junior Wells 'Play The Blues'...

I'm sure most here have the original in some form. It features Clapton, Dr. John and members of the J Geils Band. It took years to make and has a revolving lineup of players. J Geils was brought in to finish it.

The new reissue features the boys on the 13, count 'em...13 previously unissued tracks of disc 2.
